This is a unique chance to see a very-very-very controversial site. A place of ancient Jewish Jerusalem Temple. Today it is regarded as 3d holy place in Islam. This place probably is the only point in the Israeli-Arab negotiations, which will stop both parties to come to peace.
What are you going to see, hear and experience during our tour:
You will see the place of old Jewish Temple and pagan Jebus, which was conquered by King David. We will see the Dome of the Rock – the only monumental Muslim construction in Israel, that was designed to create competition to meaning and beauty to Christian Holy Sepulcher. We will talk about architecture in Islam, and Muslim rulers that build the most significant image of todays Jerusalem.
We will see the Al-Aksa Mosque, which is regarded as a place, where Prophet Muhammad ascended to Heaven. We will talk about the meaning of Jewish Temple in Judaism and Jewish calendar and about the binding significances of this place to Jewish culture and people
Most of tourists visiting Israel are not rising up the Temple Mount, not just because there is a problem with tension and harassment, but also because of lack of democracy on the site, while it is still territory of Israel:
-you can rise only on specific hours (only Muslims can rise whenever they want)
-only Muslims can pray on temple mount, others will be arrested by police
-only Muslims can drink from the fountains on the plaza of temple mount
-a non Muslim cannot cry on Temple Mount, or he might be arrested
-non Muslim can't mumble something, as it might be regarded as prayer and you can be arrested
-only Muslim can enter from all the gates, others should go through a bridge at Robinson's arch
-although there is no Halakhic prohibition to go up the Temple Mount, there are rabbinical directory not to do that, and a lot of Jews wouldn't go up following it.
The tension around the Temple Mount is very high. The complex is ruled by Jordanian WAQF – Muslim Religious Fund, and they hold their own security additionally to the presence of Israeli Police forces.
East Jerusalem isn't the safest place on Earth and rising to temple mount may require a protection of police, as there are groups of Arabs that sit day and night at the Temple Mount complex called in Arabic "Haram Al Sharif" and get paid (probably from Hamas terrorist organization) to harass groups of Jews who rise there.
1. I have to be notified at least 2 weeks prior to the tour, to notify police forces, or to join group of people with police protection.
2. Take time in consideration. A non muslim can visit Temple Mount only:
Monday through Thursday:
Winter: 7:30 am – 10:30 am and 12:30pm – 1:30 pm (Jerusalem Time)
Summer: 8:30am – 11:30am and 1:30pm – 2:30pm
3. I will not be able to say everything I want on the Temple Mount site, as I will be watched by the WAQF security forces, and if they will hear me saying something that contradicts their views or Muslim beliefs they could interfere and shout towards the camera or even try to hit me. If you will ask me a question, which will require a reply that interfere with Muslim beliefs, I will kindly ask you to keep it until the end of the tour, when I will be safe to talk free. You will hear neutral historical facts.
4. At any point of the tour I can be verbally or physically attacked by the HAMAS-paid mob. They will follow us, yelling "Alla u Akhbar" and "Takhbir". In the worst case I will have to disconnect and might not be able to continue. Taking in consideration hardships in organization of such a tour, and risks of ascending the Temple Mount, you will be charged even in case the tour will have to be stopped.
